Title: Injuries in cheerleading in Czech republic Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to document the injuries in cheerleading in the Czech Republic. Methods: Analysis of the literature on a selected topic related literature from the field. Distribution of injuries by medical classification. Creating the questionnaire survey for cheerleaders in the country. Carry out the investigation in a group of athletes. Statistical processing of the results and their interpretation. Results: We managed to gain knowledge about the etiology of injuries among cheerleaders in the Czech republic and to prove the influence of specific aktivity on the type of injury and the injury of a specific body part. We also proved the influence of specific role in the stunt on the injury of a specific body part. Keywords: cheerleaders, cheerleading, injuries, stunt
